VIDEO: Watch Dreamgirls star Amber Riley sing 'I Am Changing'

Producers of Dreamgirls have released a video of Amber Riley performing 'I Am Changing' ahead of the musical's West End premiere in December. 

The video also sees Riley discussing the role of Effie White with the production's director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw. Watch below!

Dreamgirls opens at the Savoy Theatre on 14th December 2016 (previews from 19th November). The cast also also includes Ibinabo Jack as Lorrell Robinson, Liisi LaFontaine as Deena Jones, Nicholas Bailey as Marty, Adam J. Bernard as Jimmy Early, Tyrone Huntley as C.C. White and Joe Aaron Reid as Curtis Taylor Jr. Ruth Brown and Karen Mav will alternate the role of Effie at performances when Riley is not scheduled to perform.

Cynthia Erivo recently dropped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to give a jaw-droppingly incredible rendition of 'I'm Here' from The Color Purple. Watch the performance below. Erivo recently received a Tony nomination for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Celie in the show. She first played the role in London before being cast in The Color Purple's Broadway revival.

Last night (23rd May), West End star Rachael Wooding performed on the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals.

After giving a stunning rendition of 'With You' from Ghost at her first audition, Wooding gave a mesmerising performance of 'Gravity' by Sara Bareilles. Watch her performance below.

Sadly Wooding didn't make it through to the final... but we need her back on a West End stage ASAP! Wooding's first audition was at the Dominion Theatre where she starred as both Meat and Scaramouche in We Will Rock You.

Wooding took to the stage at the Dominion Theatre, where she previously starred as both Meat and Scaramouche in We Will Rock You, to perform 'With You' from Ghost The Musical.

Kerry Ellis & Brian May release new single 'Amazing Grace'

The first lady of the West End Kerry Ellis and Queen legend Brian May have released a cover of 'Amazing Grace'.

The single supports the launch of May’s Save Me Trust and Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue's campaign #AmazingGrace aimed at raising public awareness of the plight of our nation’s favourite wild animal, the hedgehog. 

This single has been rush released in support of Grace, the hedgehog. The single is avaliable now on iTunes. You can watch the accompanying video below. Ellis and May recently released 'Roll With You' which they wrote together for their upcoming album Anthems II. They've completed their Italian and European One Voice tour, with UK dates expected to be announced soon.

Alongside starring in Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre, West End actress Chlöe Hart runs Voicebox Productions with her partner, engineer/producer Simon Small. As the company soars from strength to strength, they have launched a new online 'Live From The Studio' video series.

The first video sees Hart perform ‘She Used To Be Mine’ from Sara Bareilles’ debut musical Waitress which recently began performances on Broadway. You can exclusively watch the video below! The band features guitar & bass by Small, piano & organ by Jessie Maryon Davies and drums & percussion by Joe Watson. 

Kerry Ellis & Brian May premiere band new song

Kerry Ellis and Brian May have premiered their brand new song 'Roll With You'. Written by Ellis and May, the number will feature on their upcoming album Anthems II and can currently be heard live on their European One Voice tour. Have a listen below!

An official release date for the album and details for Ellis and May's rumoured UK tour are yet be be announced. Queen legend Brian May spotted Kerry Ellis when she was in My Fair Lady at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and invited her to audition for his musical We Will Rock You. After originating the role of Meat in the show, Ellis and May have gone on to work together extensively, both in the studio and on world tours.

Aaron Tveit knows exactly what we need! The Broadway production of Wicked have released the latest Out Of Oz video which sees former Fiyero Aaron Tveit sing a stripped back rendition of 'Popular'. The song is usually sung in the musical by Glinda as she gives Elphaba a makeover during the first act. 

The previous Out Of Oz videos have seen West End Frame Award winner Rachel Tucker sing 'Defying Gravity' with Tveit as well as 'I'm Not That Girl' with Kara Lindsay. This week Tveit will star as Danny in Fox’s Grease LIVE.

Watch Aretha Franklin sing '(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman' for Carole King

Aretha Franklin gave the performance of the night when she sang  '(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman' at the Kennedy Center Honors 2015 gala. Carole King - who wrote the song with Gerry Goffin - was honored at this year's awards and relished every second of Franklin's performance.

Franklin originally released the hit in 1967; the single reached number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. Chilina Kennedy, who is currently starring as Carole King in Beautiful on Broadway, introduced Franklin to the stage. Watch the unmissable performance below:

Rachel Tucker & Kara Lindsay sing stripped back 'I'm Not That Girl' #OutOfOz

The Broadway production of WICKED has released the second video in its Out Of Oz series which sees stars of the show past and present performing stripped back versions of songs from Stephen Schwartz's score.

In the newly released video, West End actress Rachel Tucker and Kara Lindsay - who are currently playing Elphaba and Glinda in the Broadway production of WICKED - sing a new arrangement of I'm Not That Girl'. Check out the performance below!

WOWZERS! Watch Cynthia Erivo & Jennifer Hudson sing 'The Color Purple' live

This morning (24th November) Cynthia Erivo and Jennifer Hudson were guests on Good Morning America to perform the title song from The Color Purple. The duo are both currently making their Broadway debuts in the musical which is in previews ahead of opening night on 10th December. Watch their roof-raising performance below!

Starring alongside Erivo and Hudson as Celie and Shug Avery are Danielle Brooks (Sofia), Isaiah Johnson (Mister), Joaquina Kalukango (Nettie) and Kyle Scatliffe (Harpo). The show is directed by John Doyle who also directed The Color Purple's UK premiere at the Menier Chocolate Factory starring Erivo.

The Royal Shakespeare Company have released the trailer for their production of Hecuba. Watch the video below.

Directed by the Royal Shakespeare Company's Deputy Artistic Director Erica Whyman, Hecuba runs at the Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon until 17th October 2015. A searing vision of war, womanhood and courage, inventively told. 

The cast includes David Ajao (Nepotolemus), Nadia Albina (Cassandra), Derbhle Crotty (Hecuba), Ray Fearon (Agamemnon), Edmund Kingsley (Polymestor), Amy McAllister (Polyxena), Chu Omambala (Odysseus) and Lara Stubbs (Xenia/Singer).

With just five days to go until their concert at the Prince Edward Theatre on 27th September, West End divas Kerry Ellis and Louise Dearman have released a video of them rehearsing 'Take That Look Off Your Face' from Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Tell Me On A Sunday. 

The pair are accompanied by their musical director and arranger Craig Adams. Both Ellis and Dearman have previously starred in Tell Me On A Sunday for Royal Caribbean International and the number featured on Ellis' self-titled album last year. Watch the video below.

The concert will feature an evening of iconic duets sung by Ellis and Dearman who trained together in the same year at Laine Theatre Arts but have never worked together professionally... until now. As well as performing their single 'Let Me Be Your Star' from SMASH, Ellis and Dearman will ​sing 'I Know Him So Well' from Chess, Aretha Franklin's 'Natural Woman' and a special Wicked treat.

Producers of Casa Valentina have released an amazing video of the cast transforming into character (see below). Written by Harvey Fierstein based on real life events, the play follows a group of heterosexual cross-dressers who leave their families, friends and city jobs behind to safely inhabit their female alter egos and release their inner woman.

Marking the play's European premiere, Casa Valentina opens at the Southwark Playhouse on 16th September (previews from 10th September) for a limited run until 10th October 2015. Luke Sheppard directs with costume by Andrew Riley, lighting by Howard Hudson, set by Justin Nardella and casting by Will Burton CDG.

Directed by Michael Grandage, Photograph 51 opens in the West End at the Noel Coward Theatre on 14th September (previews from 5th September) for a limited run until 21st November 2015. The cast is led by Nicole Kidman as Rosalind Franklin and Stephen Campbell Moore as Maurice Wilkins.
