Katy Treharne and Stuart Matthew Price join Betty Buckley and Paul Nicholas in Dear World at the Charing Cross Theatre

Full casting has been announced for the British premiere of Jerry Herman's musical Dear World, starring Betty Buckley and Paul Nicholas and directed and choreographed by Gillian Lynne. The production will run at the Charing Cross theatre from 4th February until 30th March 2013. Press Night is set for Wednesday 13 February.

Katy Treharne (winner of West End Frame's Understudy Of The Year 2012) and Stuart Matthew Price will star as Nina' and 'Julian', the two young lovers. Peter Land, Robert Meadmore and Jack Rebaldi will star as the 'Presidents', Ayman Safia will play the 'Mute'. The cast also includes Anthony Barclay as the 'Prospector', Brett Brown as the 'Waiter', Paul Hawkyard as the 'Sargeant', Annabel Leventon as 'Constance', Rebecca Lock as 'Gabrielle', Joanna Loxton, and Craig Nicholls. The cast will be led by Tony Award-winning Betty Buckley as 'Countess Aurelia' and Paul Nicholas as 'Sewerman '.

Mercury Musical Developments 20th Anniversary Gala takes place on Sunday 14th October 2012 at the Novello Theatre

Michael Xavier, Janie Dee, Claire Moore, Hayley Gallivan, Maria Friedman, Danielle Hope, Alison Jiear, Haydn Gwynne, Sally Anne Triplett, David Bedella, Tam Mutu, Paul Kaye, Stuart Matthew Price, Lucy May Barker, James Bourne, Madalena Alberto and Jenna Russell are now confirmed as the full line up of artists for Mercury Musical Developments 20th Anniversary Gala on Sunday 14th October 2012 at the Novello Theatre. Lauren Samuels leaves We Will Rock You tonight

Good Luck to the incredible Lauren Samuels who finishes her run as Scaramouche in We Will Rock You! She has had a great six month and run and it has been refreshing to see a new take on the character. During her run in she show she came second place in our Best Performance Of A Song In A Musical for Somebody To Love.

Lauren Samuels fear not, as she will soon be leading the cast of  Vampirette the Musical at  Manchester Opera House from Friday 4th - Saturday 19th May 2012.
