George Stiles and Anthony Drewe's musical adaptation of The Three Little Pigs provides bucket loads of fun for all the family. 

It's so nice to see a children's musical with a commendable original score featuring melodies that you will find yourself humming on your way home (days later I'm still singing the Huff and Puff song).

It's also remarkable to see a cast of such high calibre performing the piece. Fresh from reaching the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent, Alison Jiear showcases some powerhouse vocals. Olivier Award-winner Leanne Jones shines throughout whilst West End Frame Award-winner Daniel Buckley is always on point and giving his all. 

Musical theatre performer Taofique Folarin takes to the stage with great charm whilst Blue singer Simon Webbe seems to be having the time of his life as the Big Bad Wolf - the kids certainly loved his mischievously over the top portrayal.

Alison Jiear joins West End cast of The Three Little Pigs following Britain's Got Talent

Fresh from appearing in the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent earlier this week, Alison Jiear has been cast as Mummy Pig in George Stiles and Anthony Drewe’s musical adaptation of The Three Little Pigs.

The show runs during the day at the West End's Palace Theatre between 5th August and 6th September 2015. The Commitments will continue to run at the Palace as normal. Prior to opening in the West End, the production will play the North Finchley arts depot on 24th July and Birmingham Town Hall from 28th July.

Jiear received an Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Jerry Springer The Opera. Her other West End credits include: The Fabulous Singlettes, On The Town And The Hot Mikado.

Mercury Musical Developments 20th Anniversary Gala takes place on Sunday 14th October 2012 at the Novello Theatre

Michael Xavier, Janie Dee, Claire Moore, Hayley Gallivan, Maria Friedman, Danielle Hope, Alison Jiear, Haydn Gwynne, Sally Anne Triplett, David Bedella, Tam Mutu, Paul Kaye, Stuart Matthew Price, Lucy May Barker, James Bourne, Madalena Alberto and Jenna Russell are now confirmed as the full line up of artists for Mercury Musical Developments 20th Anniversary Gala on Sunday 14th October 2012 at the Novello Theatre.
