Voting is now open for the first West End Frame Award of 2015, Most Inspiring West End Show.

London is home to some of the most inspiring theatre in the world. This award is a celebration of all those shows which leave audiences with a spring in their step - whether people are left with tears of joy or sadness, all the nominated shows make a mark on their audiences. Which show inspired you most? Vote below.

Voting for Most Inspiring West End Show opened Wednesday 25th February and must close at 11am on Friday 6th March 2015. The result will be announced shortly after voting closes. 'Follow' us on Twitter and 'Like' us on Facebook for exclusive updates during the voting period and to be the first to find out when the result is announced. The result can be previewed until Monday 2nd March 2015.

Cabaret named Most Inspiring West End Show

Since 10th December West End Frame readers have been voting for the final West End Frame award of 2012 - Most Inspiring West End Show. We are thrilled to announced that Cabaret has won! The runners up for Most Inspiring West End Show are Our Boys, Les Miserables, Loserville and Wicked. 

Cabaret is currently on at the Savoy Theatre. Based on the stories of Christopher Isherwood and the play by John Van Druten, Cabaret has a book by Joe Masteroff, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. It premiered on Broadway in 1966 and in 1972 was made into an Oscar-winning film starring Liza Minnelli as Sally Bowles, Michael York as Cliff and Joel Grey as the Emcee. 

The iconic musical is set in 1931 Berlin as the Nazis are rising to power, it focuses on nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub and revolves around the 19-year-old English cabaret performer Sally Bowles and her relationship with the young American writer Cliff Bradshaw. The current West End production stars Will Young, Michelle Ryan, Sian Phillips, Harriet Thorpe and Matt Rawle.

Voting for Most Inspiring West End Show is only open for 12 days as voting must close on Saturday 22nd December 2012 at 7pm. The result will be announced shortly after voting closes on our Twitter and Facebook pages. The result can be previewed until Wednesday 19th December 2012.
