Louise Plowright passes away

West End Frame are devastated to report the passing of actress Louise Plowright, aged 59, who was undergoing treatment for Pancreatic Cancer.

A statement posted by Plowright's family on the Fundraising for Louise Plowright's life saving treatment Facebook Page reads:

"Dear wonderful supporters of Louise,

"I am so sorry to have to let you know that an hour ago we lost Louise to that horrid disease. All of her family were with her. The world has lost a truly special person, prodigiously talented, and a friend to all. 

Michael Fenton Stevens, Helena Blackman & Louise Plowright star in But First This at the Watermill

New musical But First This is set to receive its premiere at the Watermill Theatre. A musical homage to Radio 4, the show is written by BBC newsreader Kathy Clugston with music by Desmond O'Connor. It runs from Thursday 23rd October to Saturday 8th November 2014.
