Open auditions announced for Jesus Christ Superstar

Open auditions have been announced for the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre's production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Casting director Will Burton has revealed that open auditions will take place on Monday 25th January 2016 at the Open Air Theatre. 

Auditionees must be available between June and August 2016. The casting team are looking for "outstanding" rock, pop and soul voices who must *at least* be a mover.

Candidates should prepare a song of their choice from the show as well as bring along an appropriate rep folder. Registration will strictly take place between 9.30am and 12.00pm whilst auditions will take place between 10.00am and 6.00pm. Auditionees should report to the stage door on inner circle.

Artistic director Timothy Sheader will direct the new production of Jesus Christ Superstar by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, marking the first time their work has been staged at the venue. With choreography by Drew McOnie, Jesus Christ Superstar begins performances from 15th July and runs to 17th August.
