The Play That Goes Wrong has extended its West End booking period at the Duchess Theatre to 26th February 2017.
The play is co-written by Mischief Theatre company members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields who previously starred in the show which is directed by Mark Bell.
Created by Mischief Theatre, The Play That Goes Wrong premiered at the Old Red Lion in 2013 before transferring to Trafalgar Studios 2 and then to Edinburgh. Following sell out and critically acclaimed runs, The Play That Goes Wrong launched a UK Tour before opening to the West End’s Duchess Theatre in September 2014 where it recouped twelve weeks into its run. Countless international productions are already planned, including a possible Broadway transfer.
The current cast includes Leonard Cook as Robert, Bryony Corrigan as Sandra, Harry Kershaw as Chris, Laura Kirman as Annie, Chris Leask as Trevor, James Marlowe as Max, Laurence Pears as Jonathan and Niall Ransome as Dennis. The company is completed by Adam Byron, Matt Cavendish, April Hughes and Sarah Madigan.
Mischief Theatre recently brought their second production Peter Pan Goes Wrong to the West End for a festive run at the Duke of York's Theatre whilst their next production The Comedy About A Bank Robbery will premiere at the Criterion Theatre in March.
