According to The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, Jim Broadbent is in negotiations to star as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at the Noel Coward Theatre later this year.
If confirmed, the production will be directed by Phelim McDermott. A spokesman for Sonia Friedman Productions told Bamigboye that, as elements of the show are still being assembled, nothing cannot yet be confirmed.
