The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye has announced that Rufus Hound will play the Duke of Bedford and Bolingbroke in The Wars of the Roses at the Rose Theatre Kingston.
Directed by Trevor Nunn, the production opens on 3rd October (previews from 16th September) and runs until 31st October 2015. The play is adapted from William Shakespeare’s Henry VI Parts I, II & III and Richard III by John Barton in collaboration with Peter Hall. The Rose stage will be transformed into a battleground.
Hound joins the previously announced Joely Richardson, Robert Sheehan and Kåre Conradi. According to Bamigboye, the cast will also include: Oliver Cotton, Susan Tracy, Alex Waldmann and Laurence Spellman.
