Jude Law joins Luke Treadaway's charity gala 'A Curious Night at the Theatre'

It has been announced that Jude Law will perform live on stage with actors Luke Treadaway and Niamh Cusack as part of 'A Curious Night at the Theatre', a charity gala which takes place at the Apollo Theatre on 1st July 2013.

Jude will join Luke and Niamh who are currently starring in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time as part of a star-studded mix of theatre, comedy, music as well as live auction to raise money for two charities: Ambitious about Autism and the National Autistic Society.

A Curious Night at the Theatre will feature the world premiere of Simon Stephens and Mark Haddon's especially-written sequel to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. The new play, a detective story, will feature live performances from Jude Law, Luke Treadaway (as Christopher Boone) and Niamh Cusack as well as filmed performances from Helen Mirren, BAFTA-winning James Bond actor Ben Whishaw, Doctor Who's Matt Smith and Sherlock's Andrew Scott.

The event is being hosted by Mel Giedroyc and also contains stand-up comedy from Simon Amstell. Music is provided by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Bat for Lashes, the all female vocal group The Boxettes, pianist Derek Paravicini and The James Christy Band.

There will also be a live auction with lots including tea at the Ritz with Matt Smith and a walk on role in War Horse.
