Richard Mylan, Suzanne Shaw and Nicola Stapleton to star in new play, Baggage

Casting has been announced for the forthcoming world premiere of Baggage, a new play exploring the world of internet dating by John Muirhead and Mike Charlesworth, at the Arts Theatre. Baggage will be directed by Audrey Cooke and will run at the Arts from 6th September to 6th October (press performances on 10th, 11th and 12th September). The cast will be made up of Charlie De’ath as James, Richard Mylan as Adam, Suzanne Shaw as Geraldine, Nicola Stapleton as Sandy and Dan Wilder.

Baggage tells the story of close friends, reunited through tragedy, who hope to repair their damaged relationship before it’s too late. The content draws to some extent on personal experience, but is largely the result of considerable research with people who have used the dating sites and offered up stories, many of which are unprintable and implausible.

  2. No doubt this collaboration BAGGAGE by John Muirhead and Mike Charlesworth is a labour of love.Internet dating a doddle for Mike Charlesworth having made his fortune running premium CHAT AND DATE adult phone chatlines in Australia and the UK. Believe he still supplies pay by phone solutions for internet porn sites?
