Praise the Lord! Sister Act to embark on new UK tour

Bless our show! It has been announced that Craig Revel Horwood will direct and choreograph a brand new production of Sister Act.

The revival will open at the  Leicester Curve on 30th July 2016 ahead of a UK tour which is currently booking to 17th December 2016. See dates below (further venues and casting to be announced).

Tickets go on sale from 5th August 2015. Musical supervision and arrangements  are by Sarah Travis.

Revel Horwood said: "I am truly thrilled to be directing and choreographing this all new production of Sister Act, a show I fell in love with when I saw it a few years ago. I am currently putting together a dream creative team and can't wait to get started next year on this hilarious and wonderful show".

Full casting announced for Annie UK tour starring Craig Revel Horwood

Full casting has been announced for the brand new UK touring production of Annie. Nikolai Foster directs with choreography by Nick Winston.

The show will open at the Newcastle Theatre Royal between 11th - 18th July 2015 ahead of a year-long UK Tour

As previously announced, Craig Revel Horwood will star as Miss Hannigan. However, due to his Strictly Come Dancing commitments, at certain performances the role will be played by Lesley Joseph (Birds of a Feather), Jodie Prenger (winner of I'd Do Anything) and Elaine C. Smith (I Dreamed a Dream).

Craig Revel Horwood stars as Miss Hannigan in new UK Tour of Annie

It has been revealed that Craig Revel Horwood has been cast as Miss Hannigan in a brand new UK touring production of Annie. Nikolai Foster directs with choreography by Nick Winston.

The show will open at the Newcastle Theatre Royal between 11th - 18th July 2015 ahead of a year-long UK Tour

Annie - which has music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin and book by Thomas Meehan - features the numbers It’s A Hard Knock Life, Easy Street, I Don’t Need Anything But You and Tomorrow.

Horwood is best knows as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing. However, his West End theatre credits include playing Munkustrap in Cats (New London) and Harry in Crazy for You (Prince Edward) as well as appearing in Miss Saigon (Drury Lane).

Cirque du Soleil‘s award-winning production of Quidam officially opened at the Royal Albert Hall last night (7th Jan).

Lisa Riley, Artem Chigvintsev, Natalie Lowe & Ian Waite to star in Craig Revel Horwood's new show Strictly Confidential

Following the continued success of BBC One’s ratings-winning Strictly Come Dancing, Craig Revel Horwood’s brand new show, Strictly Confidential will give theatre audiences the chance to get up close and personal with some of the stars of the show. Lisa Riley, Artem Chigvintsev, Natalie Lowe and Ian Waite will take fans on an intimate journey into their backgrounds and motivations live on stage, giving audiences a personal insight into what led them to their Strictly Come Dancing adventure. 

The brand new show, written and directed by Revel Horwood, the country’s most notorious TV entertainment judge, will take fans on an epic journey told through music, song and breathtaking dance routines. The two month tour will premiere in theatres across the UK from June next year.
