Agent of Influence: The Secret Life of Pamela More is like stepping into a time machine and travelling to the height of the Second World War where we meet our glamorous and fabulously endearing heroine, Pamela More, Socialite, Journalist… and now a spy. The design cleverly transports the audience back to the 1940s; it literally felt as if we were sat in an air shelter.

Agent of Influence: The Secret Life of Pamela More is storytelling at its finest; the script (delivered by the charming Rebecca Dunn) is superb. Dunn plays each character with ease, and the play is delivered as if Pamela is dishing us a delicious secret and leaves you itching to hear what More got up to next. I loved her candid approach to every situation, she values the worldly state of equal importance as the detail of a sequinned dress.

Dunn delivered the text to perfection, every audience member – both old and young – was seemingly hooked. Agent of Influence: The Secret Life of Pamela More is a fantastic example of new writing. I would recommend this seamless play to audiences old and new and to anyone interested in seeing the war through the remarkable eyes of Miss Pamela Moore.

  1. Why only three stars if it's a fantastic example of new writing?

  2. Great review and I agree with every word - but why the 3 stars? It (correctly) reads like a 5 star; surely worth 4 stars at a minimum!
