Casting announced for Little Shop Of Horrors UK tour

Casting has been announced for the upcoming UK tour of Little Shop Of Horrors.

As previously announced, former X Factor contestant Rhydian Roberts will play the Dentist. He will star alongside Sam Lupton (Wicked/Avenue Q) as Seymour and Stephanie Clift (Mamma Mia!) as Audrey.

The cast also includes Paul Kissaun as Mushnik, Sasha Latoya as Crystal, Vanessa Fisher as Chiffon, Cassie Clare as Ronnette and Josh Wilmott as Audrey II as well as Phil Adele, Stephanie McConville and Neil Nicholas.

Directed by Tara Wilkinson, the show will open on 4th August at the Bournemouth Pavilion before visiting Llandudno, Wimbledon, Belfast, Woking, Aylesbury, Lichfield, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bridlington, Cheltenham, Coventry, Manchester, Glasgow and Blackpool.

Choreography is by Matthew Cole with musical supervision by Mark Crossland. Little Shop of Horrors features music by Alan Menken. The musical originally opened off-off-Broadway in 1982 before moving to the Orpheum Theatre off-Broadway later that year where it ran for five years.

Little Shop of Horrors opened in the West End the following year, and in 1986 was adapted into the now iconic cult film starring Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene and Steve Martin. Sheridan Smithstarred in the show's 2006 London revival (Menier Chocolate Factory/West End).
