Clare Foster, Freddie Fox & Forbes Masson to star in Travesties

Further casting has been announced for the Menier Chocolate Factory's production of Tom Stoppard’s Travesties.

Marking the play's first London revival in over 20 years, Travesties opens on 4th October (previews from 22nd September) and runs until 19th November 2016. Patrick Marber directs.

Joining the previously announced Tom Hollander as Henry Carr are Clare Foster (Cecily), Freddie Fox (Tristan Tzara), Forbes Masson (Lenin), Peter McDonald (James Joyce), Amy Morgan (Gwendolen) and Sarah Quist (Nadya). 

Travesties opened at the Aldwych Theatre in 1974, directed by Peter Wood. It won the Evening Standard Award for Best Comedy, and a Tony Award and New York Critic’s Circle Award for Best Play for its Broadway run at the Ethel Barrymore Theater.
