GOSSIP: Gary Barlow developing casting competition for Take That musical?

Last year West End Frame reported that Gary Barlow was apparently "keen" to write a new Take That musical.

According to UnrealityTV, Barlow is now developing a reality casting competition for BBC One to find the musical's leads. Barlow is likely to be a judge on the show, if everything comes together.

The show would reportedly follow a similar formula to Andrew Lloyd Webber's casting shows including  I’d Do Anything, Any Dream Will Do and Over the Rainbow.

Please note, further information is yet to be announced and nothing has been confirmed.

It was recently revealed that Barlow's musical The Girls is waiting for a theatre to become avaliable so it can transfer to the West End. Kelsey Grammer is also in talks to join Alfie Boe in West End transfer of Barlow's musical Finding Neverland.
