PICS: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory celebrates second birthday with gala performance

Last night (25th June) the West End production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory marked its second birthday with a gala performance and party for cast, crew and special guests. Check out images from the evening below (click image to enlarge).

Zachary Loonie (one of the four young actors who plays Charlie Bucket) led the curtain call at the end of the show with Jonathan Slinger (Willy Wonka) and fellow cast members, before all attending a party at Sway Bar Holborn. 

Special guests included Killian Donnelly and Matt Henry who are about to star in the West End premiere of Kinky Boots. Also in attendance were Kara Tointon, Hannah Tointon, Tom Pellereau, Indira Varma and Claudie Blakely

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory won two Olivier awards in April 2014, and has broken records at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, where it has been seen by over 1,400,000 people since it opened in June 2013. Directed by Sam Mendes, the production is currently booking until 4th June 2016.
