Casting has been announced for Alice: A New Musical. The show premieres at the St James Studio between 9th and 21st March 2015.
The cast includes: Hannah Toy (Alice), Kerry Enright (The Queen Of Hearts, pictured right), Oliver Brenin (The Mad Hatter), Mateo Oxley (Cheshire Cat), Daniel Hope (White Rabbit / Lory), Michelle Francis (Mouse / Pigeon), Damian Robinson (Dodo / Hare / Guard 2) and Jamie Coleman (Caterpillar / Guard 1).
Running for just 45 minutes, the show has been created as part of the St James Theatre's series of lunchtime plays for office workers, families and tourists to enjoy. Alice: A New Musical will feature original songs for characters such as the Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter as well as an entirely new script.
Alice is written by Paul Harnett who will also direct the production. The creative team is completed by: Oliver Taheri (producer), Rebecca Crookshank (writer), Daniel Williams & Jay Reynolds (music & lyrics), Sean Parkins (choreography), Katherine Connelly (costume designer), Lizzie Furniss (costume maker), Alex Musgrave (lighting designer) and Sam Jauncey (assistant lighting designer).
Nikki Davis-Jones has joined the creative team as assistant director.
