GOSSIP: Harry Styles to play Fiyero in Wicked movie?

According to The Sun, producers want Harry Styles to star as Fiyero in the film adaptation of Wicked. Apparently a release date has been set for 29th October 2015, although a director is yet to be officially confirmed (Stephen Daldry's name has been mentioned).

Producers apparently want Styles to be the 'new Zac Efron' and think he would be a perfect casting for a movie musical. Matt Willis, Ben Freeman and Adam Garcia have all played Fiyero in the West End production of Wicked.

    Why? There are so many deserving young west end / Broadway / trains and undiscovered actors that could play the role fantastically, or already have played the role. Can Harry Styles act? dance? I'm not really a fan so I wouldn't know, but CAN HE? There are question that need asking. What's the point. EVERYONE knows about wicked. They don't NEED to stunt cast, do they? Or if they do, at least stunt cast with an actor, and maybe a more minor character? I'm not condemning him because I don't really know much, but I know I personally would prefer to see the role go to a musical theatre actor. :D
