The Jewish Legacy returns for Manchester & Hertfordshire performances

The Jewish Legacy: A Night at the Musicals is returning for just four performances. The production will play the Paragon Theatre, Manchester on Sunday 30th March and The Radlett Centre, Hertfordshire on Sunday 6th April at 4pm and 7.30pm.

Broadway's golden age of musical theatre wouldn’t be what it is today without the incredibly talented Jewish composers and lyricists of the 20th created an enduring legacy that is enjoyed by millions of people across the world every year. 

Despite its name, The Jewish Legacy is described as being "a show for everyone that takes you from the very beginnings of musical theatre, just over a century ago, to some of the most up-to-date and intriguing musical theatre being written today."

The cast of four showcase songs from musicals including: West Side Story, Funny Girl, Fiddler On The Roof, The Wizard Of Oz and South Pacific. There’s work from Irving Berlin, Richard Rodgers, Kander and Ebb, George Gershwin, Lorenz Hart, Harold Arlen right through to Stephen Sondheim and even more modern names like Jason Robert Brown, Zina Goldrich and Marcy Heisler. 

The Jewish Legacy: A Night at the Musicals is written/produced by Leon Trayman and produced by Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment.
