Coinciding with Joan Littlewood’s Centenary, and alongside the new production of Oh What a Lovely War, Fings Ain’t Wot They Used T’Be is returning to Theatre Royal Stratford East in a new version by Olivier-nominated Elliot Davis.

Mark Arden’s stage credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Much Ado About Nothing both for the British Shakespeare Company, An Inspector Calls at the Garrick Theatre, The Tenant Of Wildfell Hall at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Aladdin at the Winter Gardens, Margate, Kiss Of The Spiderwoman at the Sevenoaks Playhouse, The Long, The Short And The Tall at the Albery Theatre, Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead at the Piccadilly Theatre and We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre. Mark’s screen credits include Teenage Kicks, New Tricks, EastEnders, Saxondale, Ultimate Force and Heartbeat.
Ryan Molloy (pictured right) created the role of Frankie Valli in the West End production of Jersey Boys and has starred in the show for a record-breaking six years. His other stage credits include: Godspell (UK Tour), Eurobeat at the Pleasance Grand Theatre, On The Town for the English National Opera, Tonight’s The Night (UK Tour), Jerry Springer The Opera at the Cambridge Theatre, The Merchant Of Venice and Betrayal both at the Workhouse Theatre and Macbeth at the Embassy Theatre. Ryan’s screen credits include The Filleting Machine, £24 To Tulse Hill and Gravity Smells Funny.
Jessie Wallace is best known for her role as Kat Moon in EastEnders. Her other screen credits include: The Road To Coronation Street, Spendingtons,Wild At Heart, The Dinner Party, A Class Apart and Marie Lloyd.. Jessie’s stage credits include: Stepping Out (UK Tour), Haunted at the Arts Theatre and Rent at the Duke Of York’s Theatre.
Gary Kemp is one of music’s most successful songwriters. He achieved huge success in the 1980’s as guitarist and songwriter for the group Spandau Ballet. Gary’s stage credits include: The Rubenstein Kiss at Hampstead Theatre, Pig Night at the Menier Chocolate Factory and Art at the Wyndham’s Theatre. His screen credits include Lewis, Casualty, Murder In Mind, M.I.T, Take Out The Beast, Assassin, Molly Moon, Poppies, Dog Eat Dog, American Daylight, The Krays, The Bodyguard, Paper Marriage, Killing Zoe, Hide & Seek and Still Crazy.
Stefan Booth is best known for playing Greg in EastEnders, Jamie Nash in Hollyoaks and Sergeant Marc Rollins in The Bill. His other screen credits include: Breakwater, William & Mary, The Silence, The Royal, Sugar Rush, Casanova’s Last Stand, Pursuit and Back In Business. Stefan also took part in ITV1’s Dancing On Ice, making it through to the final and coming second. Stefan’s stage credits include Chicago (UK and European Tour), Raindogs at Trafalgar Studios, Betwixt at the Ambassadors Theatre and Summer Holiday (UK Tour).

The production opens on Tuesday 20th May (previews from 8th May) and runs until 8th June 2014.
