Earlier today it was announced that Savannah Stevenson (Glinda), Jeremy Taylor (Fiyero); Sue Kelvin (Madame Morrible) and Olivier award-winning actor Paul Clarkson (Doctor Dillamond) will join the previously announced international Wicked star Willemijn Verkaik (Elphaba) in the new London cast at the Apollo Victoria Theatre from Monday 18th November 2013. Sam Kelly will return to play The Wizard, a role he previously played in 2009/2010. Emma Hatton will be Standby Elphaba and current ensemble cast member Sophie Linder-Lee will become Standby Glinda.
We can now confirm that Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose) and Sam Lupton (Boq) will continue in their current starring roles. Click here to find out more information about the new cast.
Sadly, this means that Louise Dearman (Elphaba), Gina Beck (Glinda), Ben Freeman (Fiyero), Harriet Thorpe (Madame Morrible), Keith Bartlett (The Wizard), Christopher Howell (Doctor Dillamond), Hayley Gallivan (Standby Elphaba) and Lucy van Gasse (Standby Glinda) will all play their final performances on Saturday 16th November 2013.
From Monday 18 November 2013, the ensemble will feature Florence Andrews, Kyle Anthony, William Bozier, Oliver Brenin, Lauren Brooke, Philippa Buxton, Philip Catchpole, Aisling Duffy, Samuel Edwards, Kerry Enright, Michelle Francis, Jacqueline Hughes, Melissa Jacques, Marc McBride, Stacey McGuire, Natalie McQueen, Greg Miller Burns, Tom Muggeridge, Rachel Muldoon, Sean Parkins, Charlie Stemp, Lauren Stroud, Lindsay Taylor, Justin Thomas, Hannah Toy, Matt Turner, Russell Walker and Jenny Wickham.
Based on the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire that ingeniously re-imagines the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’, Wicked tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfill their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

The UK & Ireland Tour will visit: Manchester Palace Theatre, Dublin Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Milton Keynes Theatre, Wales Millennium Centre, Glasgow King’s Theatre, Leeds Grand Theatre and Birmingham Hippodrome.
