It has been officially announced that from 18th November 2013, new cast members will join the West End production of Wicked.
The new cast includes: Savannah Stevenson (Glinda), Jeremy Taylor (Fiyero), Sue Kelvin (Madame Morrible), Paul Clarkson (Doctor Dillamond) and Emma Hatton (Standby Elphaba).
Current ensemble cast member Sophie Linder-Lee as Standby Glinda and previous cast member Sam Kelly as the Wonderful Wizard of Oz! They join the previously announced Willemijn Verkaik as Elphaba. Wicked has already been seen by over 36 million people around the world and has 6 productions running concurrently. The original Broadway production is now in its 10th Anniversary year. The West End production is now in its 7th year at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, where it is already the 16th longest-running West End musical of all time.
New cast members Jeremy Taylor and Emma Hatton are both currently in the ensemble of We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre. Speaking to West End Frame earlier this year, when asked about her dream roles, Emma Hatton said: "I know I’m not quite ready yet but one day I would like to play Elphaba in Wicked." The UK & Ireland Tour will visit: Manchester Palace Theatre, Dublin Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Milton Keynes Theatre, Wales Millennium Centre, Glasgow King’s Theatre, Leeds Grand Theatre and Birmingham Hippodrome.

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire that ingeniously re-imagines the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’, Wicked tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two girls who first meet as sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
