The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time announces new cast

It has been announced that the National Theatre's multi award-winning adaptation of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time will welcome new cast members on 2nd September 2013 at the Apollo Theatre. The new cast began rehearsals yesterday (Mon 22nd July).

Mike Noble (pictured right), who recently appeared in the National Theatre revival of Simon Stephens' Port, will play Christopher Boone, taking over from Olivier Award-winner Luke Treadaway. 

He will be joined by Rakie Ayola as Christopher's teacher, Siobhan, Daniel Casey as Roger Shears, Jo Dockery as Punk Girl, Amanda Drew as Judy, Patrick Driver as Reverend Peters, Trevor Fox as Ed, Jack Loxton as the alternate Christopher, Golda Rosheuvel as Mrs Shears, Gay Soper as Mrs Alexander and Paul Stocker as Mr Thompson.

The new cast is completed by Katie Elizabeth Payne, Mark Rawlings, Matt Tait and Cathy Walker.

Adapted by Simon Stephens from Mark Haddon's award-winning book, the play follows 15 year-old Christopher Boone, a maths genius with behavioural problems. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has now been seen by over 100,000 people in the West End. The show is currently booking until October 2014.
