Miss Saigon to hold open auditions in London next month

After months of speculation, last week Cameron Mackintosh finally confirmed that Miss Saigon will return to London, opening at the West End's Prince Edward Theatre in May 2014. Since its London premiere in 1989, Cameron Mackintosh's production of Alain Boulil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's epic show has become one of the most successful musicals in history and the greatest success ever to play the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. 

Auditions have already been held in Manila and now open auditions for East and Southeast Asian actors, singers and dancers are to be held in London on 1st and 2nd July, will successful auditionees beginning rehearsals next Spring. All the details are below:

  • Males and females
  • East Asian/Southeast Asian actors, singers and dancers
  • All applicants must have excellent vocal and dance abilities
  • Successful applicants must be available to start rehearsals in early Spring 2014 for a one-year contract
  • Artists must have a valid UK/EU passport or already have a full working visa for the UK during the entirety of the contract
