West End Frame: Sneek Peak at... Carnaby Street at the Hackney Empire

Set in London’s West End in the sixties with its iconic clubs, fashion and characters, Carnaby Street tells the story of Jude, a working class boy from Liverpool, new in London and armed with nothing but his guitar and his dreams of fame and fortune. The musical follows the passion and heartbreak of his journey in pursuit of stardom. The show features 30 classic hits including ‘Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’, ‘Sweets for my sweet’, ‘Roll over Beethoven’, ‘Doo Wah Diddy’.
