Production images have been released for Bare which opens tomorrow night (29th April) at the Union Theatre and runs until 25th May 2013. Bare is a contemporary rock musical which follows a group of teens wrestling with issues of identity, sexuality, and religion at a co-ed Catholic boarding school. Provocative, raw, and unyielding in its exploration of how today's generation navigates the tightrope between adolescence and adulthood, Bare examines the consequences of baring a soul-or hiding it from those who matter most.
Through its pulsating rock score and emotionally charged story, Bare has thrilled and moved audiences around the world in over 100 productions since its first staging in Los Angeles in 2000. Now it is to get its European premiere from the award-winning creative team behind the sell-out production of Steel Pier at The Union and Rent at Greenwich Theatre.
