Colm Wilkinson, who originated the role Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, will return to the West End in June for a one-off concert performance at the Lyceum Theatre. The performance will gives fans old and new the opportunity to see and hear a more intimate and personal side of this phenomenal performer.
The show, titled Bring Him Home, is on 24th June 2013 and runs as part of Wilkinson's Broadway and Beyond tour which kicks off in Cork, Ireland on 6th June.
The two-hour concert will include "Music of the night", "Some Enchanted Evening", "Somewhere", and his signature song "Bring Him Home". He'll also tell stories from his long career and put a new spin on classics including "Danny Boy", "Whiskey in a Jar" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah".
Wilkinson, who was recently appeared in the Oscar-nominated Les Miserables movie and has also starred in Jesus Christ Superstar, The Phantom of the Opera and Evita, will be joined on stage by two female vocalists and a seven-piece band under the musical direction of Gavin Murphy.
The Broadway and Beyond tour will also visit Dublin, Limerick, Edinburgh, Cardiff and venues across the USA.
