Michael grew up in Brighton and trained at RADA. A familiar face on stage and TV, his recent leading West End roles include Sam Carmichael in Mamma Mia!, Billy Flynn in Chicago and David Buckle in Michael Frayn’s comedy Donkeys’ Years. Richard's theatre credits include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof directed by Debbie Allen (Novello). Also, John in Roy Williams’s Angel House directed by Paulette Randall, Angel in The Unexpected Guest (Bill Kenwright tour) and Michael in The Brothers by Angie Le Mar (Hackney Empire). Richard is perfectly cast as Donkey in Shrek the Musical which closes at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane next year.
A Chorus of Disapproval marks Rob's long awaited West End debut. His television credits include The Best of Men, Marion and Geoff, Human Remains, Gavin and Stacey, The Trip, The Rob Brydon Show, Would I Lie To You?, The Keith Barret Show, Rob Brydon’s Annually Retentive, QI, Little Britain, I’m Alan Partridge, Live At The Apollo, Rob Brydon’s Identity Crisis, Oliver Twist, Marple, Kenneth Tynan: In Praise of Hardcore, Heroes and Villains: Napoleon. Strictly Come Dancing champion Tom Chambers will be missed when he leaves Top Hat in February 2013. Tom's acting career started at the tender age of 12 when he was cast as the eponymous Dracula in a school production of The Dracula Spectacular. During his time at school, he was a member of the National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT) with whom he appeared in a variety of musical theatre shows.
