Jersey Boys announces Broadway closure

Bye Bye Baby! The Broadway production of Jersey Boys has announced that it is closing.

The musical will close on 15th January 2017; having opened in October 2005, Jersey Boys will have played 4,642 performances in New York. 

Mark Ballas (Dancing With The Stars) is joining the cast on 18th October 2016 to star as Frankie Valli with Mauricio PĂ©rez as alternate Frankie. The cast also includes Richard H. Blake as Tommy DeVito, Quinn VanAntwerp as Bob Gaudio and Matt Bogart as Nick Massi.

Jersey Boys tells the true story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and their rise to stardom from the wrong side of the tracks.The show is packed with their hits, including Beggin’, Sherry, Walk Like A Man, December, 1963 (Oh What a Night), Big Girls Don’t Cry, My Eyes Adored You, Bye Bye Baby, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Working My Way Back to You and Fallen Angel.

The West End production of Jersey Boys continues to run at the Piccadilly Theatre.
