Further casting announced for world stage premiere of Fatal Attraction

It has been revealed that Mark Bazeley and Kristin Davis will join the previously announced Natascha McElhone in Trevor Nunn’s production of Fatal Attraction. The pair will play to play Dan and Beth Gallagher.

Written by James Dearden, the world stage premiere of Fatal Attraction will open at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 25th March 2014 (previews now starting on 11th March). The show is currently booking to 21st June 2014. Designs are by Rob Jones with lighting by Paul Pyant and sound by Paul Groothuis. 

Mark Bazeley (Dan Gallagher) was last on stage in Trevor Nunn’s production of Scenes from a Marriage at the St James’ Theatre. He has also appeared in the National Theatre's production of The Seagull and Death of a Salesman at the Lyric Theatre.

Kristin Davis (Beth Gallagher) is making her West End debut. She is best known on television for playing Charlotte in HBO’s Sex and the City. Her other television credits include playing the role of Brooke Armstrong in Melrose Place and more recently Ginny in Bad Teacher. She made her British stage debut playing Sunny Jacobs in The Exonerated in London in 2006 at Hammersmith’s Riverside Studio, following an off-Broadway run.

Other cast includes Jane How as Joan and Alex Lowe as Jimmy. Final casting will be announced shortly.

This story of obsession and revenge explores how a chance meeting in a bar and a casual encounter quickly becomes a living nightmare for Dan Gallagher, a successful New York lawyer, and his young family. After spending one weekend with the gorgeous Alex Forrest, he assumes he can just walk away, but Alex is a woman who refuses to be ignored. She pursues Dan and his family with terrifying consequences.
