Production images have been released for the major West End revival of Jez Butterworth’s award-winning play 'Mojo' which officially opens at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 13th November 2013. Take a look at the images below (click on a picture to enlarge).
The production, which is booking until 25th January 2014, stars Brendan Coyle (Mickey), Rupert Grint (Sweets), Daniel Mays (Potts), Colin Morgan (Skinny), Ben Whishaw (Baby) and Tom Rhys Harries (Silver Johnny). Ian Rickson is directing the play, reuniting him with Jez Butterworth. The pair previously collaborated on the play's world premiere at the Royal Court in 1995.
Set against the fledgling rock 'n' roll scene of 50s Soho, this savagely funny play delves into the sleazy underworld and power games of London's most infamous district. Mojo is produced in the West End by Sonia Friedman Productions who also produced Butterworth and Rickson’s internationally-acclaimed Jerusalem.
It would be great if you mentionned the amazing Colin Morgan in the title of your article too...
ReplyDeleteI second that. Colin is an amazing actor and Mojo benefited greatly from his talent.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm being honest, I could barely understand what Colin Morgan was saying half the time and he put me in mind of Robbie from Eastenders. He did bounce off Whishaw's Baby quite well though.
