Casting announced for The Blues Brothers: Xmas Special at the Arts Theatre

After five years away, The Blues Brothers: Xmas Special is coming back to the Arts Theatre. The show opens on 3rd December 2015 (previews from 16th November) and runs until 10th January 2016.

David Kristopher-Brown (The Phantom of the Opera) and Joshua Mumby (Hansel & Gretel) will star as Joliet Jake and Elwood Blues, with Simon Ray Harvey (Memphis) taking on the role of Ray. The company is completed by Sasi Strallen (Oklahoma!), T’Shan Williams (Love Me Tender) and Hannah Kee (Starlight Express) as the Stax Sisters.

Full casting has been announced for next year's UK Tour of Fame The Musical! A new production that has been bought up to date and into the 21st Century opens at New Wimbledon Theatre on Thursday 20th February 2014 ahead of a major UK tour.

Set in 2014 at the world famous High School for Performing Arts New York, young talented hopefuls undertake the journey of their lives. Ambition, triumph, heartbreak and romance conspire to steer them off course, and the pressure is too much for some. But, these kids are determined to live forever and Fame.

Fame has enjoyed seven West End runs since premiering in the USA in 1988 and continues to be performed all over the world.
