The Watermill Theatre has announced its spring/summer 2016 season, the inaugural programme from new Artistic and Executive Director Paul Hart.
Season highlights include a "bold and raucous" staging of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, directed by Hart and in collaboration with The National Youth Theatre. Staged in the round and featuring live music, the production runs from 25th February until 2nd April.
From 12th to 23rd April, Craig Taylor’s One Million Tiny Plays About Britain, a series of hilarious, overheard encounters originally published in The Guardian, opens for a limited run before touring rural venues across the region.
