Derren Brown's Infamous returning to London next year

It has been announced that Derren Brown is bringing his latest show 'Infamous' back to London next year, following a 140-date 2014 tour. The show will run at the Hammersmith Apollo for three nights only, from 25th – 27th July 2014. 

Derren said: “After six months of touring a much more personal show - quite a 'brave' move away from the template of previous shows - it's been hugely rewarding to repeatedly hear audience members and critics say it's the best show yet. I can't wait to get it up and running again”.

Infamous enjoyed a sell-out run at the Palace Theatre earlier this year and will embark on a second nationwide tour from February 2014. Infamous has been described as Derren’s "most ‘heart-felt show" and marks his sixth theatrical show since 2003. Since then he has toured every year and been watched by an estimated audience of over one million people and has won two Olivier Awards.

It is one thing to watch Derren Brown's television shows, but to see his unique brand of magic and mind control live is like nothing I have ever experienced before in my life. It is very hard to write an in-depth review as during the performance Derren asked journalists, as well as the entire audience, not to give away what happens during the performance.

Derren Brown is bringing his new live show called 'Infamous' to the West End next month. Following a UK sell out tour, Infamous opens at the Palace Theatre (replacing Singin' in the Rain) on 24th June 2013 and runs for a limited season until 17th August. Derren said “The show is a secret so I'm not giving away what's in it, but it's a psychological roller-coaster based around audience participation. And it's got a real heart to it. The response on tour has been incredible, it's all such a treat."

Theatre Gossip: Derren Brown barred from a Birmingham casino during UK Tour

Derren Brown was barred from a Birmingham casino on Saturday night and escorted from the premises after trying to play Blackjack. The Broadway Plaza Casino allowed Brown’s friends to play however the TV and stage star, in Birmingham performing his live show Infamous, was politely told he was barred from playing.

Derren said “I went in after the show and sat down to play blackjack. They were very nice, served me food, but they wouldn't let me play. So I watched the others for a bit and then left. I was escorted out by a member of staff and the manager. Over the years I’ve has been banned from playing at most of the UK’s casinos, so I wasn't unduly surprised”.
