GOSSIP: Sierra Boggess, Matthew Morrison, Christina Aguilera & Hugh Jackman to star in 'Broadway 4D' movie

According to BroadwayWorld, Sierra Boggess, Matthew Morrison, Christina Aguilera and Hugh Jackman will star in a new film called Broadway 4D. The movie is described as a "revolutionary film experience centered on the history of Broadway musicals."

International pop superstar Christina Aguilera (who is a judge on The Voice USA) has reportedly signed up to play Eva from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's classic musical Evita. She will perform 'Don't Cry For Me Argentina'.

Open casting call for Warner Bros. Pictures' new movie 'Pan'

Director Joe Wright is searching for one aspiring young actor to portray one of the most iconic characters ever created, in an all-new big screen adventure based on J.M. Barrie’s beloved character Peter Pan, the boy who would never grow up. 

Warner Bros. Pictures and the filmmakers behind the upcoming feature film Pan are hosting an open casting call on Sunday 23rd February 2014 at Wembley Arena for the title role in director Joe Wright’s live-action adventure.

Hugh Jackman quits Broadway musical

X-Men star Hugh Jackman has pulled out of a new Broadway musical about Harry Houdini in which he was to have played the famed illusionist. 

The actor has claimed that "scheduling demands" is the reason for his departure. Jackman said he "wasn't able to commit to the time this role will require." 

"I have tremendous respect and admiration for the creative team and I wish everyone the best," he continued. "I know they're well on their way to making something extraordinary."

Producer Scott Sanders said the Les Miserables star had been "terrific to have on this part of our journey".

"We will continue to move forward with our remarkable creative team as they craft this ambitious new musical," he said.
