Further casting announced for An American in Paris

The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye has revealed further casting for the West End production of An American in Paris.


Directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon, An American in Paris will open at the Dominion Theatre on 4th March 2017. 

As previously reported, Robert Fairchild and British dancer Leanne Michelle Cope will lead the cast, reprising their performance from the Broadway production.

According to Bamigboye, also joining the cast are Jane Asher as Madame Baurel, Haydn Oakley as Henri Baurel, as well as David Seadon-Young and ZoĆ« Rainey. Former West End Frame Understudy of the Year winner Ashley Day will alternate the role of Jerry Mulligan before taking over from Fairchild in June 2017.

An American in Paris has music by George and Ira Gershwin with a book by Craig Lucas. The score has been adapted, arranged and supervised by Rob Fisher.
