First casting has been confirmed for the upcoming UK tour of Ghost The Musical.
Produced by Bill Kenwright, the revival will star former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding as Molly and ex-Hollyoaks actor Andrew Moss as Sam.
The production tours the UK from 29th August, opening at the New Theatre Wimbledon. Ghost The Musical has book & lyrics by Bruce Joel Rubin and music & lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard.
Harding says: “I’m absolutely delighted to be making my theatre debut in Ghost The Musical. The film is one of my all-time favourites, so to get the opportunity to play ‘Molly’ in Bill Kenwright’s new production is a huge honour for me and I can’t wait to get started!”

Ghost The Musical premiered in Manchester in 2011 and transferred to the West End later that year before opening Broadway in 2012. All three productions starred Caissie Levy as Molly and Richard Fleeshman as Sam.
I can't imagine her singing With You. She's a very limited singer and actor.

ReplyDeleteWhy can't you cast based on talent rather than z listers?
ReplyDeleteWhat pays the bills, full houses or half-full houses?
DeleteOh dear how dreadful. Cast musical theatre actors for goodness sake!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, this casting totally puts me off, how very disappointing.
ReplyDeleteReally? There is so much talent in the west end with regular hardworking people who will produce repeat visits.
ReplyDeleteI was so tempted to go. Was. Oh.
ReplyDeleteWhy teach Harding to act and Moss to sing when you could hire people who already do both? Don't get this at all.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to see this in Oct, very disappointed!!
