Lily Frazer to star as Michelle Morris in Dreamgirls

The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye has announced that Lily Frazer (In The Heights/Cats) will star as Michelle Morris in the West End premiere of Dreamgirls.

Directed by Casey Nicholaw, Dreamgirlsopens at the Savoy Theatre on 14th December 2016 (previews from 19th November).

The show will have set by Tim Hatley with costume by Gregg Barnes, lighting by Hugh Vanstone, sound by Richard Brooker, hair by Josh Marquette, musical supervision by Nick Finlow and orchestrations by Harold Wheeler with additional material by Willie Reale.

Frazer joins Amber Riley as Effie White, Ibinabo Jack as Lorrell Robinson, Liisi LaFontaine as Deena Jones, Nicholas Bailey as Marty, Adam J. Bernard as Jimmy Early, Tyrone Huntley as C.C. White and Joe Aaron Reid as Curtis Taylor Jr. Ruth Brown and Karen Mav will alternate the role of Effie at performances when Riley is not scheduled to perform.

Completing the cast are Jocasta Almgill, Callum Aylott, Hugo Batista, Samara Casteallo, Chloe Chambers, Carly Mercedes Dyer, Joelle Dyson, Kimmy Edwards, Candace Furbert, Nathan Graham, Ashley Luke Lloyd, Gabriel Mokake, Abiola Ogunbiyi, Sean Parkins, Kirk Patterson, Ryan Reid, Rohan Richards, Noel Samuels, Durone Stokes and Tosh Wanogho-Maud.
