GOSSIP: Waitress aiming for Spring 2017 West End transfer

Broadway musical Waitress is aiming to open in the West End in Spring 2017.

The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye says the show will cross the pond if a suitable theatre is avaliable. Waitress has a score by Sara Bareilles with book by Jessie Nelson. Based on the 2007 motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly, the musical opened in New York in April.
