Further casting has been announced for The Libertine by Stephen Jeffreys starring the previously announced Dominic Cooper.
Directed by Terry Johnson, the play will run at the Theatre Royal Bath between 31st August and 17th September before transferring to the West End. The Libertine opens at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 27th September (previews from 22nd September) and plays until 3rd December 2016.
Joining Cooper as the Earl of Rochester are Ophelia Lovibond as Elizabeth Barry, Jasper Britton as King Charles II and Mark Hadfield as Etherege with Will Barton as Alcock, Cornelius Booth as Harris / Huysmans / Constable, Will Merrick as Billy Downs and Richard Teverson as Sackville. Final casting is still to be announced.
