London is officially in the band! As previously reported by West End Frame, School of Rock will open at the New London Theatre later this year following the early closure of Show Boat.
It has been confirmed that Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical will open on 14th November (previews from 24th October).

Following its Broadway opening, it was announced that School Of Rock would begin performances at the London Palladium in autumn 2016. However, last month producers revealed they were aiming for the show at a different theatre in Spring 2017.
Directed by Laurence Connor, the Broadway production opened in December 2015 starring Alex Brightman and Sierra Boggess. A U.S. tour is expected to launch in late 2017.
School of Rock has book by Julian Fellowes. The musical features music from the movie, as well as new music written by Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater. Choreography is by JoAnn M. Hunter, with scenic and costume design by Anna Louizos, lighting design by Natasha Katz and sound design by Mick Potter.
