Finding Neverland announces Broadway closure

Finding Neverland will close on Broadway this summer. 

The musical will play its final performance at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on 21st August 2016. 

Having opened in April 2015, Finding Neverland will have played 33 previews and 565 regular performances.

The show currently stars British actors Alfie Boe, Laura Michelle Kelly and Sally Ann Triplett. Directed by Diane Paulus, Finding Neverland has a score by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy plus a book by James Graham.

Press material confirms that Finding Neverland will transfer to the West End, opening "in the spring of 2017". Full details of the London production are scheduled to be announced next month with tickets going on sale in the summer.

It has been reported that Kelsey Grammer and Alfie Boe will star in Finding Neverland's West End transfer.
