Details announced for Best Performance of a Song 2016

The West End Frame Awards are back! Voting for Best Performance of a Song 2016 will open one week today on Tuesday 7th June and close on Wednesday 22nd June 2016.

Running as part of the 2016 West End Frame Awards, the full nominations list will be announced on Monday 6th June. Keep your eye on social media over the weekend for some teasers!

Unlike other theatre awards, West End Frame only opens voting for one category at a time and combines male and female actors from new and long-running productions into the same categories (where applicable).

Last year's Best Performance of a Song Award was won by John Dagleish for his rendition of 'Waterloo Sunset' in Sunny Afternoon. Previous winners also include Rachel Tucker ('Defying Gravity'/Wicked), Tam Mutu ('Stars'/Les Miserables) and Sofia Escobar ('Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again'/The Phantom of the Opera).

The 2015 publicly voted West End Frame Awards also saw Matt Cardle win Best West End Debut, Jacqueline Hughes win Understudy of the Year and Sunny Afternoon win Most Inspiring West End Show.
