Disney's Aladdin has extended its West End booking period at the Prince Edward Theatre to 11th February 2017.
The show plays its first preview tonight (27th May 2016) ahead of press night on Wednesday 15th June 2016.
Aladdin stars Dean John-Wilson as Aladdin and Jade Ewen as Jasmine with Broadway's Trevor Dion Nicholas making his London stage debut as Genie.
The cast also includes Don Gallagher as Jafar, Peter Howe as Iago, Irvine Iqbal as the Sultan, Nathan Amzi as Babkak, Stephen Rahman-Hughes as Kassim and Rachid Sabitri as Omar.
Aladdin features songs from the classic 1992 animated film as well as new music written by Alan Menken with lyrics from Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin. Book is by Beguelin. Aladdin is directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw.
Completing the cast are: Arran Anzani-Jones, Miles Barrow, Albey Brookes, Lauren Chia, Bianca Cordice, Leon Craig, Daniel de Bourg, Seng Henk Goh, Melanie Elizabeth, Kade Ferraiolo, Antony Hewitt, Michelle Chantelle Hopewell, Fred Johanson, Mitch Leow, Oliver Lidert, Thierry Picaut, Alex Pinder, Briony Scarlett, Kyle Seeley, Sadie-Jean Shirley, Ricardo Spriggs, Katie Singh, Dawnita Smith, Marsha Songcome, Kayleigh Thadani, Ethan Le Phong and Jermaine Woods.
