Wicked International Tour to play Singapore

After launching in the UK, Wicked's new International Tour will fly to Singapore before heading off to Manila.

As previously announced, the production will open at the Bradford Alhambra Theatre on 20th July 2016 for 5 week season before travelling overseas.

The tour is expected to run into 2017. Bradford will be the only British city outside of London to host Wicked in 2016.

The production will play Mastercard Theatres in Singapore between 29th September and 16th October 2016 before playing the Theatre at Solaire in Manila with tickets on sale from July.

Wicked previously toured the UK and Ireland between September 2013 and July 2015. Nikki Davis-Jones, Emily Tierney and Liam Doyle recreated the roles of Elphaba, Glinda and Fiyero when the tour launched at the Manchester Palace Theatre. The touring cast later starred Ashleigh Gray as Elphaba and Samuel Edwards as Fiyero.

Last year Jacqueline Hughes won West End Frame's Understudy of the Year Award for standing by as Elphaba in the Wicked UK & Ireland tour.
