It has been announced that Wicked's new international tour will play Hong Kong.
The show will begin performances at Academy for Performing Arts Lyric Theatre between 8th December 2016 and 1st January 2017
As previously announced, the new production will open at the Bradford Alhambra Theatre on 20th July 2016 for five week season before travelling overseas. Bradford will be the only British city outside of London to host Wicked in 2016.
Wicked will play Mastercard Theatres in Singapore between 29th September and 16th October 2016 and the Theatre at Solaire in Manila in 2017.
Wicked previously toured the UK and Ireland between September 2013 and July 2015. Nikki Davis-Jones, Emily Tierney and Liam Doyle recreated the roles of Elphaba, Glinda and Fiyero when the tour launched at the Manchester Palace Theatre. The touring cast later starred Ashleigh Gray as Elphaba and Samuel Edwards as Fiyero.
Last year Jacqueline Hughes won West End Frame's Understudy of the Year Award for standing by as Elphaba in the Wicked UK & Ireland tour.
