Rehearsal images have been released for Romeo and Juliet which opens at the Garrick Theatre on 25th May (previews from 12th May) as part of Kenneth Branagh's Plays at the Garrick season. Check out the pictures below (click image to enlarge).
The show plays until 13th August 2016 with a live cinema broadcast set for 7th July. Cinderella stars Lily James and Richard Madden who reunite with Branagh to star as Juliet and Romeo alongside Derek Jacobi as Mercutio. Branagh and Rob Ashford are co-directing the show.
Meera Syal stars as the Nurse with the cast being completed by Marisa Berenson (Lady Capulet), Jack Colgrave Hirst (Benvolio), Tom Hanson (Paris), Matthew Hawksley (Anthony), Taylor James (Prince), Ansu Kabia (Tybalt), Racheal Ofori (Potpan), Nikki Patel (Balthasar), Chris Porter (Lord Montague), Zoe Rainey (Lady Montague), Michael Rouse (Lord Capulet), Sam Valentine (Friar Laurence) and Kathryn Wilder (Peta/Apothecary).
