Rehearsal images have been released for the UK tour of Green Day musical American Idiot which begins at the Leicester Curve on 19th March 2016. Check out the pictures below (click image to enlarge). American Idiot is directed and choreographed by Racky Plews with musical supervision by Richard Morris.
The role of Johnny is being shared by West End actor Matt Thorpe and singer-songwriter Newton Faulkner. The cast also includes: Amelia Lily (Whatsername), Alexis Gerred (Tunny), Llandyll Gove (Gerard), Lucas Rush (St Jimmy) and Steve Rushton (Will).
Completing the cast are Cellen Chugg Jones (Theo), Jemma Geanaus (Alysha), Karina Hind (Libby), Emma Housley (Heather), Lawrence Libor (Swing) and Alice Stokoe (Extraordinary Girl). It was recently reported that American Idiot will "likely" return to the Arts Theatre this summer.
