Emma Hatton to play The Pheasantry

Following her sell out show at Kettner’s, it has been announced that West End star Emma Hatton will play The Pheasantry in Chelsea on 1st May 2016 as part of the London Festival of Cabaret.

UPDATE (13/04/16): Hattton's first guest will be Shona White who is currently alternate Donna in the West End production of Mamma Mia! and was previously standby Elphaba in Wicked.

UPDATE (20/04/16): Hattton's second guest will be Andy Coxon whose West End credits include Beautiful and Les Miserables.

Hatton is currently starring as Elphaba in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. At Christmas her debut EP Merry Christmas, Darling topped the iTunes jazz chart. Hatton features on the London Gay Big Band's album Brave singing the most downloaded track ‘Mad About the Boy’.

For her new show, Hatton is focusing on the singer-songwriters that have so inspired her, including Carole King, Sara Bareilles and Eva Cassidy, to name but a few. Hatton says: "Music is what drives me, I live and breathe it. Some of the songs I’ve chosen for the evening are those that have touched me in such a way that I feel compelled to share my interpretation of them in the hope that I can communicate my joy of their music to everyone."

Hatton joined the West End production of Wicked in 2013 as the standby for Elphaba before taking over the role full time in February 2015. Her theatre credits include: understudy Scaramouche/Meat in We Will Rock You (Dominion), Donna in Dreamboats & Petticoats (Savoy/Playhouse/UK tour),  A Comedy of Eric's (New Vic, Stoke), When Midnight Strikes(Finborough) and Christmas in New York (Apollo Theatre).
